Hatteras Lighthouse Tile Mural, Outer Banks NC

Most of my clients seem to already have an idea in mind when they commission me to paint. My girlfriend, Sharon, was no exception!

She and her husband are currently remodeling their bathroom and have designed a walk in shower.
She's a lighthouse enthusiast and her favorite is the Hatteras Lighthouse located in the Outer Banks, North Carolina.

This hand painted, tile mural, is approximately 2 ft wide X 5 ft tall and has been painted with acrylics.

The tiles were heated to impregnate the paint and then given 3 coats of sealer for protection. Lastly, I number the back of the tiles to make it easy to reassemble on site.

The joy of painting is all the sweeter when you paint for such a dear friend!
