This picture was a design I drew directly on the wall in my hallway. I did faux plaster then painted a terra cotta pot against the plaster wall. A cardinal is perched on the edge of the pot and its droppings are down the side of the pot. On the floor by the flower pot are two sunflower seed packets. The brand name is White Rose (these stores are no longer in business). There is some Creeping Charlie, a common weed, painted at the base of the wall. I put a bit of green paint on a plastic salamander to make it appear that it was partially under a leaf.
I got many compliments on this piece of work. Ten or twelve years later I painted over it and people were disappointed. However, I now would paint on canvas so this could be avoided.
